Ariva Pharma, LLC, a California limited liability company and the owner and operator of the HYLOR brand (“HYLOR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides this page so you can manage certain uses of personal information and submit privacy requests. This page supplements the HYLOR Privacy Policy.

Opt Out of Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

HYLOR does not sell personal information for money. However, some state privacy laws may treat certain disclosures through cookies, pixels, app or custom pixels, advertising application programming interfaces, server-side advertising connections, customer-list advertising, or similar technologies as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, even when no money changes hands.

Use the control below to opt out of these activities for this browser or device. You do not need to create an account, provide your name or email address, select a state, or verify your identity to make a browser- or device-level opt-out.

Opt Out of Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

Your browser-based choice ordinarily applies to the browser and device where you make it. If you clear cookies, use a different browser or device, or browse in private mode, you may need to make the choice again. If you are signed in or we can otherwise associate the browser with your HYLOR account or customer record, we also apply the opt-out to that associated information where applicable law requires. To ask us to apply an opt-out to a known email address, account, customer-list record, or other offline information, use the Privacy Request Form below or contact us.

This opt-out does not stop all advertising or disable technologies reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accessibility, Site operation, checkout, order fulfillment, preference storage, or other purposes permitted by law. You may still see contextual or non-personalized advertising.

Cookie Preferences

Use the control below to review or change the choices available for functional, analytics, and advertising technologies. Cookie preferences and the sale, sharing, and targeted-advertising opt-out are related but distinct choices.

Open Cookie Preferences

Technologies that are strictly necessary to operate and secure the Site, process transactions, provide features you request, or remember your privacy choices cannot be disabled through the preference control. Browser settings may also block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect Site functions and remove a preference stored in that browser.

Global Privacy Control

Where required by applicable law, HYLOR treats a recognized universal opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal and any profile we associate with it.

You do not need to create an account, complete a form, or verify your identity for a browser- or device-level GPC opt-out. If you are logged in or otherwise known to HYLOR, we also apply the opt-out to the associated account and offline records where required by law. A recognized signal is treated as the applicable opt-out without requiring a second browser- or device-level request.

A GPC signal does not submit an access, correction, deletion, portability, or appeal request. Use the privacy-request process below for those rights. The later absence of a GPC signal is not treated as consent to reverse an opt-out already associated with you.

Shopify Network Intelligence and Shopify Privacy Controls

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for the HYLOR store. Shopify may use personal information from interactions and transactions with HYLOR together with information from interactions with other Shopify merchants and with Shopify to provide Enhanced Services, including advanced security and fraud prevention, personalization, analytics, and advertising. Depending on applicable law, certain advertising uses may be treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

The HYLOR opt-out control above records the applicable browser- or device-level choice and communicates it through Shopify's customer privacy system for Shopify-managed services. HYLOR also applies the choice to properly integrated advertising technologies under its control. The choice does not prevent processing needed to operate or secure the Site, fulfill a request or transaction, remember the privacy choice, or provide contextual advertising.

You may also use the Shopify Privacy Portal to limit certain Shopify advertising uses or request access to or deletion of information handled directly by Shopify. Using Shopify's portal does not replace a request to HYLOR. Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

Other Privacy Requests

Depending on your state of residence, whether a law applies to HYLOR, and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information and access or obtain a portable copy of it;

  • correct inaccurate personal information;

  • delete personal information;

  • obtain information about categories or, where required, specific third parties to which personal information was disclosed;

  • opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, customer-list advertising, or qualifying profiling in furtherance of significant decisions;

  • withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent;

  • limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information when that right is triggered;

  • exercise applicable consumer-health-data rights;

  • appeal a denial of a request where applicable law provides that right; and

  • receive equal service and not be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

These rights vary by jurisdiction. We may deny or limit a request where applicable law permits, including when we cannot reasonably authenticate the request, an exception applies, retaining information is legally required, the request would adversely affect another person’s rights, or the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Privacy Request Form

Use the secure form below to submit a privacy request. You may also email hello@drinkhylor.com with the subject line Privacy Request or call 949-272-8214.

Please provide only the information reasonably needed to identify the relevant HYLOR records and understand your request. Do not submit a Social Security number, government identification document, complete payment-card information, account password, medical record, or other unnecessary sensitive information with your initial request.

Submit Privacy Request

Verification and Response

For access, correction, deletion, and portability requests, we may ask for information reasonably necessary to authenticate that you are the person whose information is involved. We may compare the information you provide with information already in our records, send a confirmation to an email address associated with you, or use another proportionate method.

We use verification information only to process, document, and secure the request; prevent fraud relating to the request; and comply with law. We do not require identity verification for a browser- or device-level opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

We acknowledge and respond to privacy requests within the periods required by applicable law. Where California law applies, we generally acknowledge covered access, correction, and deletion requests within 10 business days; respond within 45 calendar days, subject to a permitted extension; and process covered sale or sharing opt-outs as soon as feasibly possible and no later than 15 business days.

Authorized Agents

Where applicable law permits, you may authorize another person to submit a request for you. We may request proof of the agent’s authority and may contact you directly to authenticate or confirm an access, correction, deletion, or portability request. A valid power of attorney will be handled as required by law.

For an opt-out request, we will not require verification of the consumer’s identity, but we may request information reasonably necessary to confirm the agent’s authority and identify the browser, device, account, or record to which the request should apply.

Appeals

If we deny a request and your state provides a right to appeal, email hello@drinkhylor.com with the subject line Privacy Appeal. Include the earlier request or reference number, the date of our decision, and a brief explanation of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny an appeal, we will provide information about how to contact the appropriate state regulator when required.

Sensitive Personal Information and Consumer Health Information

HYLOR does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about consumers and does not sell sensitive personal information. Based on HYLOR’s current practices, we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger a separate right to limit its use or disclosure. If that changes, we will provide the required notice and control before the new processing begins.

General HYLOR forms, accounts, reviews, and marketing programs are not designed to request medical diagnoses, medications or GLP-1 use, diabetes or bariatric status, weight history, symptoms, treatment information, genetic information, or other consumer health data. Please do not submit that information through a general form or public review.

If you voluntarily include health information in a private customer-service or product-quality communication, we may use it only as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate or address the matter, comply with law, and establish or defend legal rights. We do not sell consumer health data or use health information submitted to HYLOR to create or supply advertising audiences.

Consumer Health Data Requests

Residents of jurisdictions providing consumer-health-data rights may use the Privacy Request Form for confirmation or access, information about applicable recipients, withdrawal of consent or cessation of collection, sharing, or sale, deletion, or appeal. Select Consumer Health Data Request and do not include medical details in the request description.

Children and Teenagers

The HYLOR Site is not directed to children under 13, and purchases must be made by a person at least 18 years old. HYLOR does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of a person under 16, or process a known minor’s information for targeted advertising, without the affirmative authorization required by law.

A parent or legal guardian who believes a child or teenager provided information in a manner inconsistent with this section may email hello@drinkhylor.com with the subject line Child Privacy.

Marketing Choices

You may unsubscribe from HYLOR marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in an email. We may retain limited information on a suppression list so that we continue to honor your choice.

Where HYLOR offers a marketing text-message program, consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. You may revoke consent by replying STOP or using another reasonable method identified in the message. Mobile information, text-message opt-in data, and consent are not sold or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to messaging providers and carriers that help operate the program and as required by law.

Marketing choices do not prevent necessary nonmarketing communications concerning an order, account, privacy request, safety notice, or other transaction.
